Virtually every person who works full-time at GSL is an Employee-Owner of the company. We have found that the best way to foster a culture of success is to empower everyone within the company to share the benefits of a job well done. Our Employee-Owners see a real financial return when our company performs well, in the form of an ESOP. We are all encouraged to find ways to perform efficiently and effectively. When an Employee Owner shares an idea on how we can improve, we all benefit. A rising tide lifts all boats, and so we value that input.

A sense of Ownership means our Employee Owners can take pride in their work. We are all motivated to excel in our craftsmanship, knowing it is a reflection of a company we have a personal and financial stake in. Our ESOP allows us to provide even more stability for our Employee-Owners by essentially bolstering their retirement plans. Shares are automatically distributed to the accounts of each Employee-Owner at no cost to them. The better the company performs, the higher the value of those contributions.
