What does a Senior Estimator do?
Senior Estimators work to ensure that the estimators on their team are producing quality bids, ensure accurate pricing, and help procure work to achieve branch office goals. They oversee the estimating policies and procedures and facilitate coordination with marketing and business development teams.
What skills are required of a Senior Estimator?
Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and tools.
Capacity to train Estimators on accepted Best Practices.
Proficiency in confirming accurate bids and pricing.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Understanding in scopes of work well suited to GSL’s strengths.
Experience in construction estimating and project management.
Ability to work with marketing and business development teams.
