GSL Is Going Green In this era of conservation everyone would like to be more “Green”, but in these tough economic times all companies are looking for ways to stretch their budgets and conservation isn’t always an option. GSL Electric would like to introduce the newest division of our company, GSL Energy, LLC. GSL Energy LLC’s mission is to provide a way for our customers to go green by reducing their energy consumption and in doing so putting a little green back into their bottom line. The target market for this product is any company looking to reduce their utility bill. It has been an especially good fit for organizations that have a large number of motorized equipment, sensitive medical devices, or a large number of electronic devices such as computers and printers. How are we able to reduce monthly electricity costs? Through power factoring. ‘Power Factor’ is a term the Utility Company doesn’t want you to understand. A simple analogy of what Power Factor is might be compare Power Factor to a clogged air filter in your car. If you’re driving down the freeway with a clogged air filter, you will still be able to drive the speed limit and arrive at your destination--but it’s going to take more fuel and it will be taxing on your engine. The typical building or facility operates with a “clogged air filter” on its electrical power; this is known as Power Factor. The utility company penalizes you for it on your monthly bill for operating inefficiently. GSL Energy, LLC removes the clogged air filter by correcting the Power Factor, which ultimately saves you money and helps your facility run in an efficient manner. GSL Energy, LLC is now offering free energy audits to our customers. These energy audits can be done at any time and will cause no disruption to your operation. Upon completion, a licensed electrical engineer will analyze the results of the audit and provide a detailed report with recommendations on which products will be able to best improve the efficiency of the power service. Once approved, GSL Energy, LLC will custom configure our patent pending control unit to optimize the incoming power service and correct the inefficiencies found in the energy audit.
