the construction of three new multi-level housing buildings. Each of these four-story structures added 456 new beds, with the full project increasing the total capacity of the detention facility by 1368. All three units are equipped with recreation rooms, educational facilities, medical offices, and video communication rooms. Part of GSL’s scope also involved the installation of numerous security systems which contribute to a more safe environment for inmates and prison staff.
